Rolfing, Therapeutic touch, Trepanation, and Urine therapy

Rolfing
      Rolfing is a form of deep massage and movement education developed by Ida P. Rolf (1896-1979) who was a biochemist and therapist. She has written several books on the relationship of form and structure in the human body, including Rolfing: The Integration of Human Structures (New York: Harper and Row, 1977).

Therapeutic touch (TT)
      Therapeutic touch (TT) is a type of alternative medicine, where the therapist moves his or her hands over the patients energy field, allegedly directing the flow of chi or prana causing the disappearance of disease resulting in healing.

Trepanation
      Trepanation is the practice of making a hole. Trepanation practitioner believes that making a hole in the skull improves the brain pulsations and hence the overall well being. A trepan is the instrument used for making a hole in the skull bone. It is believed by trepanation practitioners that one's level of consciousness is directly related to the volume of blood in one's brain. As a result, trepanners say, one feels happier and more energetic after trepanation.

Urine therapy
      Urine therapy refers to one of several uses of urine to prevent or cure ailments or to enhance beauty or health. Patients drink a sample of their own mid stream morning urine.
